The Untouchable..
Don't be mistaken. I'm not talking about the Indian Caste System here. The title is taken from the ATP website which is obviously describing Rog.
The Swiss Ace won his 17th consecutive final, extending his season record to a personal best of 26-1. And Swiss Miss is ashamed to declare that she didn't even catch a single minute of her idol at this Indian Wells Masters. She wanted to at least watch the finals 'live' but upon knowing that Lleyton Hewitt was going to be Rog's final opponent, she decided that beauty sleep was more important and that her idol would have no problems demolishing the Aussie. Thankfully this over-confidence did not lead to his downfall. As usual, her idol breezed through the match in 3 sets. It would have been a different story if Rog's opponent was Roddick, especially it being a best of 5 final and a friendship at stake. Roddick was close to beating Hewitt in the semi-finals, the match going down to 3 tie-breakers. But I guess the mental strength of Hewitt once again got him through at the expense of Roddick. Next up, the Miami Masters.
Thoroughly enjoyed yesterday's mahjong session despite losing. Almost ended the big loser of the day until the last game, when I managed to salvage some pride for myself by winning a ping hu. It would have been pretty embarrassing had I lost to a novice :) Damn, I think I'm addicted to mahjong again. But I've to discard the thought of playing anytime soon as my two essays are due a couple of weeks time and exams are drawing near too.
Activities for tonight: Touch up my macro essay and come up with a nice conclusion.
How exciting. Inspiration is very much needed at this stage. Wonder where I'm going to get that from though.
